The New Orleans Saints have traded offensive tackle Jamaal Brown to the Washington Redskins.

In exchange for Brown, the Redskins will ship conditional picks in the 2011 draft to the Saints.

The Brown signing is just the latest move that shows Washington is serious about winning immediately. (Read More…)

The New Orleans Saints are trying their best to ignore the distraction created by the Reggie Bush investigation.

Bush was investigated for gifts he received while at USC and whether he violated any NCAA rules.

It was determined that Bush did violate a number of NCAA rules and the team had to forfeit games. (Read More…)

New Orleans Saints tight end Jeremy Shockey won’t speak about the weight room incident that sent him to the hospital.

Shockey allegedly collapsed in the weight room and started shaking as though he was suffering from a seizure.

He has since returned to practices and the Saints said that he did not suffer a seizure and is medically cleared to play.

The team believes Shockey’s low blood sugar level and dehydration were the cause of his health scare.

Something similar occurred with Shockey back in 2009 as he attended a pool party in Las Vegas.

The Minnesota Vikings and New Orleans Saints haven’t even started training camp yet, but both seem ready to get after each other.

Saints safety Darren Sharper began the feud after posting “X marks the spot” on Twitter in response to Brett Favre’s injury.

Vikings tight end Visanthe Shiancoe wasn’t pleased, tweeting back that the team knows Sharper had knee surgery and will be aiming for it.

That angered Sharper, who replied that he and Shiancoe should put a game check on the line when the two teams meet in the season opener.

This budding rivarly is already getting nasty, which means the season opener should be a treat for all fans.
