Saints dump Brown
The New Orleans Saints have traded offensive tackle Jamaal Brown to the Washington Redskins.
In exchange for Brown, the Redskins will ship conditional picks in the 2011 draft to the Saints.
The Brown signing is just the latest move that shows Washington is serious about winning immediately.
He will either remain at left tackle or possibly move over to the right side, flipping spots with rookie Trent Williams..
Brown fell out of favor in New Orleans because he was demanding a long-term contract after missing all of 2008 with injuries.
